Tsunami

Tsunami was a bad word around this time last year. Beach was a scary place. It was dreaded. A year later I was at the same Marina beach. I wondered as I was walking from the main road to the beach, a year earlier the sea visited the city instead of the city visiting the sea. It took a lot of people along with it though. The scene on the beach front was no different and there was no sign of any reminders to the year old tragedy. I visited a lady who was selling corn on the beach side and wanted to buy a corn. Struck a conversation with her and she felt that nature was playing a cheat here. The recent rains had no visitors to the beach hence no business and when there are visitors the corn supply had gone bad. Still her spirit to serve was no less she had a beaming smile soon after she said this and I realised something, come what may we worship mother nature in our nation. Nature may take many human lives but it took what it wanted. It took what it gave.

Christmas funnies

Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter
at the pearly gates.

"In honor of this holy season," Saint Peter said, "you must
each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into
heaven."

The first man fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a
lighter. He flicked it on. "It represents a candle," he
said. "You may pass through the pearly gates," Saint Peter
said.

The second man reached into his pocket and pulled out a set
of keys. He shook them and said, "They're bells." Saint
Peter said, "You may pass through the pearly gates."

The third man started searching desperately through his
pockets and finally pulled out a pair of women's glasses.

St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked,
"And just what do those symbolize?"

The man replied, "They're Carol's."

What does Kumble eat for Breakfast?

I am a Bangalorean and I must know the answer to my own question. What does Kumble eat for breakfast. Lets see If I ever get a chance to meet Kumble I may ask him the question and validate the answers. Since he is a spinner I think Idli is a real good candidate for being the ideal breakfast. With its revolutionised design and shape I think the more you eat Idlis the more can you spin the ball. After seeing the Man of the series award for the Sri Lankan series I think Idli takes the cake. Oops did the cake lovers just curse me? Too late Idli has won the battle. Kumble over took the spin wizard from Lanka Mutthiah Murlitharan. One of the reasons Murli married a girl from Chennai, I heard is because she knows to cook Idlis. I think its time for me to go and eat my breakfast will be back for more. Thoughts on what Kumble eats for breakfast. Keep coming back.

I suppose this is ideal for me!

Whats' all the fuss about?

As the title goes I have a writer's block currently. Do come back for more when the block is removed.

Well in the picture the puppies and kids seems to be asking the same question to the folks ahead who are taking the 'God' on a procession, as to 'Whats' all the fuss about?'
